Fractional co2 laser is a non-invasive treatment that involves a carbon dioxide laser to precisely remove the deep outer layer of damaged skin. It treats fine wrinkles scarring, texture, dark spots and uneven skin tone.

How does it work?

Fractional co2 laser treatment is a technique that tricks the skin into rejuvenation by removing the superficial layer of skin.

Fractional co2 uses an active laser medium which is a mixture of 3 gases consisting of 10-20% carbon dioxide, 10-20% of helium and the remaining is nitrogen. It passes a precise volume of light onto the skin depending on the condition of the skin which allows the body to produce more collagen.

After the fractional co2 laser procedure sunscreen has to be applied to protect the skin from UV rays. There are also some measures has to be taken to protect the skin from damage. They are

  • Avoid sweeting or exercise for the next 24 hours
  • Avoid makeup or using any other products to the skin for next 24 hours.
  • Avoid exposing the skin to the places like swimming, spa, etc.,
  • Avoid using harsh soap and use only mild cleansers
